On Thursday February 26, 2004 Palmdale High School held a drug education and awareness presentation in which parents were taught to recognize the telltale signs of alcohol and drug use as presented by Glenda Kurtz, Public Safety Office, City of Palmdale. Parents learned the physical signs children have when they are using drugs, the behavior changes that go along with drug or alcohol abuse, what parents should do if they suspect their child is using drugs and where to get help.
