City of Palmdale Seeking Lifeguards for Summer Jobs

The City is seeking candidates for Lifeguard positions at the City’s pools and DryTown Water Park this summer. Interested persons may complete an online application at www.cityofpalmdale.org.   Applications may also be filled out at the City of Palmdale’s Human Resources Department, 823 East Avenue Q-9, Suite B in Palmdale, Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30 am to 6 pm.

Lifeguard candidates must be at least 17 years of age by May 1, 2013. Applicants will need to qualify through a swim test and verbal interview.  Candidates must have successfully completed a Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification course and possess a current lifeguard certification that includes First Aid, CPR, and AED before  applying for the position.
